Former Kakuma refugee now ministering in Minneapolis and across the U.S.

In 1994, during the genocide, I fled from Rwanda.
I passed through different refugee camps, ending in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya—where I stayed for 19 years as a refugee.
My first three years in Kakuma, nobody helped me—except the church.
This is my story.

In 2016, God helped my family resettle to Minneapolis.
Here, I can accomplish a vision God gave me in Kakuma: to reach nations with the gospel from refugee camps.
I joined the International Association For Refugees to continue pursuing this vision. Partner with me today in reaching the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
